Throughout February 2025, Ottawa came together to celebrate the history, culture, and contributions of people of African descent. 

Black History Month 2025 featured a diverse range of community-led events, educational initiatives, artistic expressions, and commemorative gatherings that highlighted both the historical foundations and the living legacy of Black communities in Canada.
